New Project

Now I'm working on a blanket for a baby- I'm making it fairly big for when he gets bigger, as babies have the tendency to do.

Finished the 20th row of the test curtain! Now I start the triple-crochets!

Guess What!

Good news: I'm going to make a curtain and send it to Rachel Ray, because I love her show. I noticed the window in her kitchen has no curtain, so I'm going to find some string that fades from orange to almost white and back to orange (because orange is her favorite color) and crochet her a curtain! YAY! So if she does an episode in the future where she helps someone that's completely clueless about what to do with herbs and zests, watch that one, because I might just be on!

However, I'm have some purple string here that has the fading thing, so I'll practice and make one out of that first.

Bad news: I lost the one hook I have for string crocheting. Now I'll have to wait until I can buy a new one.

BUT! My mom is scheduling a chiropractor appointment, so I'll be in town to buy one! YAY!

EDIT: I got a hook! I'm working on the purple test curtain right now! I'm on the third row.

My brother turned 21 yesterday. Well, technecally two days ago.

Has anyone else seen the group "Rodrigo Y Gabriela"? I saw them on Craig Ferguson a while ago, and on David Letterman just tonight. They're actually pretty good- they have a CD out, which I plan to buy as soon as I have the money to- assuming, of course, I can even find it. They have a website that has a lot of information on them.

After High School...

Here's what I've accomplished since I graduated, with little plus and minus signs so you can get exactly what I'm trying to say. Heck, I'll even COLOR CODE them for you!

So yes. I'm currently angry, depressed, frustraited, and just about anything else you can think of along those lines (besides suicidal- I'm not that depressed). I feel like I'm caged and am slowly loosing my mind. Maybe this will pass; maybe it won't. Maybe it's a feral mindset that settles in after sunset. All I know is that I'm not happy and nobody's doing anything about it because I don't want anyone to know. Maybe that's why I'm putting it up here- I mean, it's not like anyone looks at this anyway. Heaven forbid I would have anything interesting to say about my "perfectly normal" family or my "straight A grades" or my "perfect" life- heaven forbid I should actually FAIL at something! Nope, nothing worth noticing here- just me raving like a spastic lunatic! HA HA HA HA HA I'M SO FUNNY!

Oh, and I'd also like to thank all my friends, who I e-mailed about this lovely little blog, and didn't get a word back from. I FEEL SO LOVED.

EDIT: I remembered! My grandpa thinks I should marry the Salutatorian of my graduating class because he's studying to be a doctor and therefore he'd have a lot of money. *eye roll* Sheesh. I know he just wants what's best for me, but picking out a husband? Isn't that kinda... medieval?

Vacation!

For now, anyway.

Anywho, might be going down to Missouri for a bit this month. Depends if my uncle (or at least one of them) will let me go with them... it is quite a drive, after all. But the fact that I might get to go at all is totally "YAY!!"-worthy. 'Cause I'd get to see my almost-cousin, and maybe even get to a meeting down there. That, and it's a vacation! Out of the house! FOR DAYS! YAY!

In other news, am planning on buying Cars as soon as it comes out on DVD in two days. Because it's such a great movie. And I love it. And it's hilarious. And it has Doc. And Guido. And Mater. And Ramone and Flo.

Did I mention I love it?

Curse you, depression.

Depression is not my friend. I feel like I could get shot or hit by a car and not care the least.

At least it's a mild episode. I'm not actually crying this time. It seems to be lifting now. I think it might be a genetic thing, because my mom occasionally fights with it.

In other news:

Grandma's dying. Lung cancer. No, it doesn't help with my depression.

I have no job.

I have no working/street legal car.

I've lost touch with a lot of friends since graduation.

In conclusion: Life's peachy. Note the sarcasm.

In other-other news: I'm hoping to update this a lot more often, as I'll e-mail some friends and let them know that it exists/is updated. That way they can be kept up with what's happening on their own time and I can let people know what's going on whenever I have free time.

There's a moth in my room. Named him Larry.

Saw Cars last weekend. Wanna see it again. Really really really wanna see it again. Mater is the funniest. ("Y' hurt your wut?" "It's funny 'cause they're so stoopid!..." "Y' did wut in your cup?!" Silly Mater.) Guido is cute. But I'd have to say my favorite character is Doc. 'Cause Doc is just cool. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. Great movie. If I get the chance, I'm gonna buy it.

Oops. Been a while since I put anything here. Guess I'll update.

Graduation went okay. I lost my tassel when we tossed our hats, and one guy's got stuck in the lighting. My mom got me two huge jugs of tea for the event, one of which I drank that night. The whole thing. I swear I was on a tea buzz for a while there.

Going to college in August and hopefully working in the campus library. However, it's only 8 hours a week, so I'll probably need a second job, because it's thirty minutes away from where I live. And gas is outrageously high.

Anywho; haven't seen Fred yet. I was out to the raspberry bush twice so far, and no sign of him. Maybe he's gone.
